With 5G becoming real as the first trials have been kicked-off, we already see that it will be a challenge to engineer and operate all HTTP/2 based interfaces. Especially if we want to interconnect these with the existing LTE and 3G network. For sure Interworking with Diameter and legacy SS7 will become crucial in this.
The only reason is that 5G is all about convergence and following the user, and somehow we need to establish all of this. How can we connect all the different kind of Signaling protocols and vendor specific flavors?
